Green

In the early 90's, when green was making a splash in the world of colour, I made a concerted effort to develop a green that was 'hunter' in shade and yet had a depth to it. This was a 6 month project! However - the results are pleasing and very popular. The abstract design was just a simple line drawing that I had been using as I tested the various glazes of green.

The first time I displayed this glaze a customer remarked that it had the look of a breeching whale. While that may be so - it is entirely accidental. However - perhaps it is an act of my subconscious creativity keeping with a somewhat eastern theme....
